Motorcycle Insurance Providers

Will my insurance provider penalise me for doing this…?
If i have a policy for my motorcycle and a policy for my car, (both policies are form the same insurance provider) and over the summer i decide to drop the policy for my car, only to activate it again in the fall, will that be considered a lapse in coverage?
Will my rates be higher because of this action when i reinstate the policy in the fall?
More than likely, you would be paying higher premiums on your car in the fall. Motorcycle policies usually don’t count for continuous coverage. Now if you dropped your motorcycle coverage during the winter months, that would be different because you have continuous coverage on the auto insurance.
I know it doesn’t make much sense, but for some reason, most insurance companies don’t consider a motorcycle policy a primary policy. It is usually secondary to an auto policy.
