Do you think America is heading towards a big depression?

1) Big financial institutions keep on write off their portfolio while foreigners are lending them money with excessive interest rate; 2) People and foreigners loss their confidence in buying debt obligations from America; 3) Oil price is skyrocketing; 4) the auto expenses are eating off the resourses of American people; 5) the administration is burning money in Iraq and afghanistan; 6) health care insurance is sucking bloods from the general public; 7) Money is kept on wasting by those none productive security check working on everywhere in every level; trade deficit is skyrocketing; 9) America produces are expensive but not good enough for the price; 10) Politicans are trying hard to keep their job at the expense of the economy of the country; 11) Social Security and Medicare are in danger while no Politican try to fix them; I can see no factor that will make us optimistic about our future, Can anyone name some?

All indications are going that way, however, I do not think that it will happen very soon, there are still some positive economic indicator that the economy is going to rebound.
