What is the statute of limitation for suing for an auto accident in the State of Georgia?

A lady hit my car back in November of 2006. She had an expired license and no insurance. She lives in Austell county so i have to drive there to sue her. Does anyone know the limitations on whether i can still sue her? And what do i need to bring or do? I have the police report and an estimate for my car.

However, you don’t need to file in Austell county because that is where she lives. You need to file in the county where the accident occurred.
