I'm shopping for new car insurance and it seems that many companies Insurance wants to reveal violations and accidents of up to five years. I was told that here in Washington state that insurance agencies are only can request two years of driving history. So I have to disclose an accident that I was involved in three years? I did some research and Washington found that driving records for insurance purposes can only go as far as 3 years ago.
