Motorcycle Insurance Tennessee
I’ll be 16 years old living in Tennessee and want to buy a motorcycle.?
I’m planing to buy a motorcycle. Does anyone know what is the best motorcycle for beginners? I really like Harleys……. And is insurance more for 16 year olds holding motorcycle license?
I was just like you 2 years ago. Most older people will tell you that if you get a big bike, you will DIE. Thats really not true. You just have to be sensible. Although I rode dirtbikes before I wanted to get a roadbike, I did learn on a 1987 rebel 250. Yes, the only thing I was able to outrun was like a 1990 honda civic and some grandma who wasn’t even racing me. But, I do remember 2 times where I was glad it was a 250 and not anything larger. I came to an intersection where traffic from the left was coming up a hill so I couldn’t see them. I was making a right and was about to when 2 kids from my high school flew over the hill racing each other. I jamed the brakes at about 2mph while already lazily leaning to the right(cocky?). The bike would have fallen over if it was heavier. Just little learning experiences like that. Get an old cruiser to start on. nothing bigger than 500cc because those are 2 cylinder bikes and 4 cylinder old bikes are a bitch to fix and maintain. You’ll be plesantly suprised with the power of a 500 too. Get it insured w/ just enough coverage to get it on the road and DON’T ride like an a-hole. My coverage on my rebel was 110 dollars a year. Not bad right…haha
Start Auto Insurance Business

Anybody Know where I can take out a loan?
I am desperate!!I will give you the condensed version of my problem. For the last 2-3 years I have been irresponsible about my credit. So my score is down the toilet, I have also started my own business, with my own money and I have sunk a lot into it. Now because I have been so careless, I have a carpayment that is waaay past due and will be taken away, as well as my auto insurance will cancel. Now I clean houses for a living, that is my business, and I need some financial help to get me back on my feet. I have tried loans, and my credit is too bad to qualify, and I have tried gov’t grants, but they are not handing any out at this time in my area, which is in DeLand, Fl. So, is there anyone out their who knows where I might get the help I need? I realize that my money problems are completely my fault, however I am tring to ovecome them very much and I just need some help.

Switch to motorcycle in Atlanta?
Age 41, Planning to Switch to Motorcycle in Marietta, GA. My reasoning:
1. Driven Motorcycle for about 12 years in my 20-early 30s (before I Migrated to USA) – No issues about driving skills
2. Plan to drive only in the City Roads (Home-Work ~9 miles City Roads). Dont plan driving on Freeway or Long distances
3. Save on High Gas costs
4. Love Motorcycle riding
Qs:
1. I hear it is a risk in US since Car drivers who dominate the road dont see a M/c… Not sure if this is the case for City Roads too.
2. Have a good Driving record in US for several years: -Any ball Park on what Insurance cost would be?
3.Looking for a used Motrorcycle : Advise me on the best make and Model – Budget 5K
4. Any other tip
I made the same change as you are contemplating. I have a Honda 450 and I get 50 MPG city and 70-MPG highway. My insurance cost is $100 per year!
I live in San Diego though and we get very little rain. There is a real problem with driving a bike in the rain. The getting wet part is nothing compared to the sliding around corners part! As much as it rains down your way you will probably need an alternate form of transportation
In the U.S. you will need to be a very defensive driver. People oftentimes won’t see you. I have people change into my lane all the time. Fortunately a motorcycle doesn’t need much room to escape.
